Terms and Conditions for Sainik Parivahan
Welcome to Sainik Parivahan, a subsidiary of Asha Logistics. By accessing and using our services, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of our transport, courier, and parcel services.
Sainik Parivahan offers transport, courier, and parcel services specifically for personnel of Indian forces, including but not limited to the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force (IAF), Indian Coast Guard, Indian Paramilitary Forces, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Security Guard (NSG), Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Indian Special Forces, MARCOS (Marine Commandos), Para SF (Paratrooper Special Forces), Garud Commando Force, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Territorial Army, Strategic Forces Command (SFC), Defence Security Corps (DSC), Border Roads Organisation (GREF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), CTC, RTC, and other integral personnel.
These terms apply to all individuals and entities using our services, and any individual or organization that accepts these terms (referred to as “Client” or “Customer”).
1. Services Offered
Sainik Parivahan provides transport, courier, and parcel services for the following:
- Black Metal Boxes / Civil Boxes containing personal effects or belongings
- Household items, electronics, and other types of parcels
- Delivery services specifically catered to the Indian Forces and their personnel, as listed above
2. Weight Limit for Parcels
- For Pan India (except Northeast): The weight limit for each black metal box or civil box is 40 kg.
- For Northeast India: The weight limit for each black metal box or civil box is 35 kg.
If the weight of a parcel exceeds the weight limit, the Customer will be required to pay an additional charge based on the excess weight. The surcharge will be calculated at the prevailing rates, which will be communicated at the time of booking.
3. Delivery Areas
Sainik Parivahan offers services across India, including all regions and states. However, delivery times and charges may vary based on the destination and weight of the parcel. Special attention is given to the delivery needs of personnel stationed in remote or difficult-to-reach areas, including the Northeast.
4. Booking and Payment
- Customers are required to book services in advance, providing accurate and complete information regarding the parcel, its contents, and destination.
- All payments must be made in full before the shipment is dispatched unless otherwise agreed upon.
- The pricing structure depends on the weight of the parcel, the delivery destination, and any special services requested. For excess weight beyond the allowed limit, additional charges will apply.
5. Handling and Safety
- Customers are required to securely pack their parcels before sending them. Sainik Parivahan will not be responsible for damage to items that were not properly packed.
- The safety of parcels is a priority, and we take reasonable measures to prevent damage. However, customers should ensure that sensitive or fragile items are packed with appropriate care.
- Sainik Parivahan reserves the right to refuse to transport items that are deemed hazardous or unsafe.
6. Extra Charges
- If a parcel exceeds the weight limit (40 kg for Pan India or 35 kg for Northeast India), the Customer will incur additional charges.
- Additional charges may also apply for services such as expedited delivery, special handling, or delivery to remote areas.
7. Liability and Insurance
- Sainik Parivahan is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to parcels once they are delivered to the final destination unless caused by the negligence or fault of Sainik Parivahan.
- Customers may opt to purchase additional insurance for parcels containing valuable or fragile items. The terms for insurance coverage will be detailed at the time of booking.
8. Prohibited Items
Sainik Parivahan will not accept or transport the following items:
- Illegal substances, contraband, or any items prohibited by law
- Hazardous materials or dangerous goods
- Items that may pose a risk to the safety of personnel or property
Sainik Parivahan reserves the right to refuse shipment of any parcel that does not comply with these restrictions.
9. Amendments to Terms
Sainik Parivahan reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. All updates will be posted on our website, and the changes will be effective as of the date of posting.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through arbitration or the appropriate legal channels in India.
